Trust your gut. If you sense a bad egg or red flags pop up during initial discussions, trust your gut. As a small business owner, mistakes come out of your pocket.


A way to avoid messy situations and building up a good rapport with your partners is by:

1) Never assuming

2) Communicate early, and often, about expectations, roles and responsibilities
